individual

individual counselling is for anyone who is looking to recieve support. topics can vary from trauma, relationships, or mood.

couples

couples counselling is for two or more people who are in relationship with on another, and are seeking support to work on the dynamics of the relationship.

family therapy is for caregivers and their children, either individually or together, to support the family unit on specific problem areas.

my approach

i work from an anti-oppressive, strength-based and client-centered approach, having worked in a variety of clinical and non-clinical settings. with training in various therapeutic modalities, i work with my clients to best understand what our work together will include.

finding a person who you can feel comfortable and safe sharing with is one of the most important elements of counselling.  learning about who your counsellor is can be a first step in understanding if they are the right fit for you.
